Reverse Mentoring: What does it mean to be a leader, now?
The act of mentoring, in my opinion, iterates from constant listening and engagement with larger sonic figures. It is not an act of depositing information or wisdom, it is more so an act of engaging in questioning and constant reflection. The below listening models are my attempts at situational awareness for constituencies to consider how they can best support people and listen to be their best selves. These frameworks are models that have guided my practice and I hope they, too, will guide others in their practice of listening, mentoring, and supporting people.
