this piece was performed for the "Monologue Slam" hosted by Distinguish. This piece spoke to me because it made me take on a vantage point that I will never have to physically endure: an abortion. The learning and rehearsals of this piece made me think deeply about the experience that women go through when they must make this deep and quite frankly jarring decision.
